Field Trip Policy
High school students earn 1 elective credit per field trip
Sign up with Michaline by paying any trip fees
. The Venture staff agreed that all science and
social studies contracts should have one required field
trip, and students who attend a Venture field trip will
have met that requirement PLUS they will earn 1 elective
credit per trip. This new policy will reward high school
students who take advantage of the many Venture field
trips that take us throughout the Bay Area.

How to Sign Up
- Be sure you can go and want to go. . .cancellations are not encouraged.
Refunds may not be available for trips where tickets must be purchased.
- Come to Venture and see Marilyn. Sign your name and the name of any
adults attending on the field trip envelope. Any fees must be paid at
time of signup.
- Indicate how you’re getting to the field trip site—-meeting
there or traveling from Venture.
- Indicate if adults can drive other students and how many (if this
is a private car field trip).

Friday, February 6 - Architecture Tour of the Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco.
If you are a fan of beautiful architecture, this is the trip for you. Enjoy a one-hour docent guided tour of this new museum, which opened its doors in June 2008. Located in the historic Jessie Street PG&E Power Substation, built in 1907, the museum is now a 63,000 square foot facility designed by architect Daniel Libeskind to experience art, music, film, literature, debate, and people.

- BART riders meet at the Dublin/Pleasanton Station at 8:45am for the 8:57 train
